micro-drawing

This stye of working was inspired by a piece I saw in Liverpool by Eva Hesse, Untitled (1967). She uses graph paper and draws circles in each square, however as they're hand drawn the circles are never perfect. I am really interested in this and the way my work morphs and changes as I'm drawing. Unless its digital, seeking perfection is pointless.

richard wilson: turning the place over

Down a small street in Liverpool Ricard Wilson
has cut a chunk out of an old building, and made
it rotate. The problem was, people were too busy
to look up at this, and whilst we were watching a
whole load of people noticed, which was quite
nice.

Liverpool's Albert Dock inspired me, and I hope to produce some drawings. There was the most incredible wind on the day we visited, adding to the feeling of grandeur the place has.

I was surprised to see the amount of areas still under construction, which gave the city an unusual feeling of space.
